This lot was processed at the Nyagishiru Washing Station. Coffee cherries are purchased from 844 farmers in the surrounding area. Due to the distance, there are 12 collection points further afield. Nyagishiru distributes composted coffee pulp and seedlings back to the farmers. They have also donated money for the construction of a school and healthcare for the area. After harvesting, this lot is fully washed, then sorted, de-pulped, wet fermented, washed, soaked in clean water and finally dried on raised beds for 25 days.
